TEAM NEWS! ... updated May 1, 2011
COACHING STAFF - Mullen High School Athletic Director Tony Schenbeck announced Mullen High School has named Alex Buth as Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Buth has been an assistant coach the past two years under former head coach Vilis Ozols, who resigned to become a volunteer coach on the CU staff. Alex was a 4 year starter and All Big 12 player at the University of Colorado from 2004 through 2008. She was an eight-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and four-time Big 12 All Academic First Team. Her playing resume and records as a Buff are big time. She will take over the reins immediately, will meet with players, Boosters, organize summer camps, and take teams to college camps this summer.
REGIONAL CHAMPS - Congratulations to the Lady Mullen Mustangs for winning the 2010 Regional Championship and for competing in the State Championship for their third consecutive year! |

OPEN GYM - The dates for Open Gym play are posted on the calendar. Please come and join us for some spirited volleyball after school between 3:30-5:00 PM.

CENTENNIAL LEAGUE INFORMATION
The Mullen Mustangs play as part of the 4A Centennial League. Our competition are the Arapahoe Warriors, Cherokee Trail Cougars, Cherry Creek Bruins, Eaglecrest Raptors, Grandview Wolves, Overland Trailblazers and the Smoky Hill Buffaloes. All of these schools are strong academic and athletic schools and all have a much larger student body than Mullen. This is tough competition, but our volleyball teams manage to hold their own!
